Below are steps to guide you through the process of requesting your student's academic records from GCPS:
Contact the school your students will be attending to let them know you are coming and to enroll. They will contact the GCPS school your students attended to request official student records.
If you would like an unofficial copy of your student’s academic records, you may contact the school to make that request.

Interstate Compact laws are in place to ease the transition concerning enrollment and scheduling as you move to a new school district and ensure that your child is not placed at a disadvantage. At our schools, we aim to ease your transition into our community by enrolling your student based on their unofficial records, until their official school records are received from their previous school.
For students receiving Special Education Services, we will do our best to ensure your student/s are provided comparable services to
those they received at their previous school.
