At its regular meeting on 8/9/22, the GCPS School Board welcomed Kenny Word, of RRMM Architects, who presented a scholarship to Dr. Clemons in honor of his recognition as Virginia Superintendent of the Year for 2022-23.
Dr. Clemons will establish eligibility criteria to award the scholarship funds to one or more eligible GHS seniors in the spring semester.
