Gloucester County School Board Disciplinary Meeting Schedule Change – 2026-2027 School Year

Please be advised that the Gloucester County School Board has revised the schedule for its student disciplinary hearings.
School Board disciplinary hearings, when needed, are typically held on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month. Beginning in September 2026 and continuing through the 2026-2027 school year, these meetings will instead be held, as needed, on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month.
The open portion of each meeting required prior to and following the closed meeting for a student disciplinary hearing may be attended at the Thomas Calhoun Walker Education Center, Conference Room A111, 6099 T.C. Walker Road, Gloucester, VA 23061, unless otherwise noted in the meeting notice.
As with all student disciplinary matters, the School Board (or designated three-member panel, as applicable) will immediately call for a closed meeting, pursuant to Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, Section 2.2-3711(A)(2).
This notice is required because student disciplinary hearings, when needed, will be held on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month, rather than the previously advertised 1st and 3rd Mondays, for the 2026-2027 calendar year.
