GLOUCESTER SCHOOL BOARD MEETING POSTPONED DUE TO TECHNOLOGY UPGRADES AT TC WALKER
The Gloucester School Board meeting, originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 23, has been postponed until Thursday, April 25 due to technology upgrades that are taking place in the TC Walker Education Center’s Auditorium. The technology upgrades include an enhanced audio system that will make sound quality much clearer and louder for those who view meetings online or on television. The subcontractor that is working on these upgrades will not have the project completed in time for this week’s meeting. Currently, the only other location within the County that has capability to livestream and record public meetings is the Colonial Courthouse, which is unavailable Tuesday evening.
School division leadership and school board members appreciate the public’s patience in making this schedule change, and believes it is important for all of its public meetings to be available for viewing by those who are unable to attend in person.

The open meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Colonial Courthouse.
