Secondary Synchronous Virtual Learning Plan - Information for Students and Families
Teachers will use the schedule below to share instructional content via a virtual meeting. The virtual meeting will remain open for 30 minutes. Following the meeting, students will complete appropriate learning activities/assignments. The assignments should take approximately 45 minutes to complete.
Attendance: Students are expected to log into synchronous learning sessions according to the schedule below, and to submit their virtual learning assignments by the end of the day. These assignments will be graded. If students are unable to log in to the virtual meeting, parents/guardians should email their student’s teachers, or provide a note to the teacher when in-person class resumes.
***Students will not be penalized for work not completed due to lack of internet, power, and/or other utilities necessary to complete assignments at home during a synchronous day. These students will be provided three school days complete assignments without penalty upon return to school.
