	Many textbook publishers maintain companion websites that provide a wealth of ADDITIONAL resources for teachers and students. ...chapter or lesson quizzes/tests, lesson reviews, visuals, practice exercises, graphs, charts, realia and more.
	Some textbooks listed may not be GCPS adopted, but content (may) closely parallel(s) Virginia SOLs. As a famous friend once said, "Slope is slope, regardless of the textbook it's in."
	Many sites provide multiple choice, true/false, essay, and short answer tests ONLINE.  At Prentice Hall, be sure to follow the title link, to student link, select chapter heading or number, then link to self-test.
	The website MAY evaluate the student's input, provide a hint, supply immediate and appropriate correction, and report results by learning objective.
	Most sites provide separate sections for students and instructors, Internet activities, and links to other websites  (These are awesome!)
	Look for animated maps, thematic timelines, and other helpful resources.
	-Some activities require an Internet Plug-in. (Flashplayer, Shockwave)  -Allow it to be installed on your computer by clicking YES. -No need to enter name, address, etc. -Continue to click NEXT until FINISHed.  -Only need to do this once!
